Algerian Football Federation president Walid Sadi has emphasized the urgent need to enhance the management and governance of clubs in the top professional league. Speaking at the opening of a regular Federal Bureau meeting at the National Technical Center in Sidi Moussa, he underlined that a club’s success depends not only on player talent and technical staff competence but also on the quality of its administration.
Sadi reiterated that the federation will continue supporting clubs to encourage a transition toward stricter management practices that ensure stability and create an environment conducive to performance. He stressed that improving management is not an option but an absolute necessity for building sustainable sporting and economic projects, competing with top international teams, and meeting the expectations of fans eager to see their clubs excel.
The federation president also called on the Administrative Control Department to play a stronger role in ensuring financial balance and transparency within clubs. He warned against financial misconduct such as excessive debt and uncontrolled spending, which undermine stability, and announced that corrective measures will be taken at the end of the season against clubs failing to improve their management standards.
