Algiers – The Ministry of Culture and Arts announced today the dismissal of Abdelkader Bouazzara from his position as Director General of the Algiers Opera.
According to the ministry’s statement, Farid Khaous, the Opera’s Secretary-General, has been appointed to manage the institution on an interim basis until a new director is officially designated.
This decision comes as part of the ongoing efforts by the Ministry of Culture and Arts to enhance the efficiency and management of Algeria’s major cultural institutions, ensuring the Opera continues to serve as a hub for national artistic creativity and cultural development.
