Algiers – The global Expo Osaka 2025 in Japan is hosting from October 1 to 8 the second promotional week dedicated to Algeria as a leading tourist and investment destination, according to a statement released on Saturday by the National Tourism Office.
The tourism and traditional crafts sector, represented by the National Tourism Office, continues its prominent presence at the Expo Osaka 2025 during this second promotional week highlighting Algeria’s tourism, which runs from October 1 to 8.
The event features participation from the Algerian National Tourism Office, the Handicraft and Traditional Industry Chamber of Algiers, the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency, and a selection of talented Algerian artisans.
The national participation is distinguished by displays including artistic masterpieces and traditional coral jewelry, alongside authentic Algerian traditional fashion and folkloric performances.
Visitors to the Algerian pavilion enjoy an exceptional experience through virtual reality technology, allowing them to embark on a virtual tour to discover Algeria’s charm and tourism diversity. The pavilion has attracted a great deal of public interest.
