385,000 New Trainees Join Algerian Vocational Programs

Algiers, October 5, 2025 – A new cohort of 385,000 trainees and apprentices has commenced their vocational training across Algeria today. This intake marks the start of the October 2025 training cycle, offering opportunities in diverse vocational fields.

The Ministry of Vocational Training and Education has implemented comprehensive measures to ensure a smooth and successful start to the training year. The provision of 385,000 new training positions complements the existing 287,000 trainees already enrolled in ongoing programs.

The Ministry emphasized its commitment to allocating all necessary resources, both material and human, to create an optimal learning environment for new and returning students. A key focus is on delivering a comprehensive and diverse range of specialized training programs that are closely aligned with the evolving needs of the Algerian labor market.

This year’s offerings include new specializations in high-priority sectors, particularly those linked to digitalization, information and communication technologies, chemistry, plastics industries, and electrical and electronic engineering. The curriculum also expands into other strategically important domains.

Among the novel specializations are Data Analyst, 3D Graphic Designer, E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, Senior Technician in Pharmaceutical and Paramedical Product Quality Control, Embedded Electronics, and Smart Systems. These additions reflect the growing demand for skilled professionals in these rapidly developing fields.

The Ministry expects these newly trained individuals to significantly contribute to Algeria’s economic growth and diversification in the coming years.
