Algiers – Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Kamel Rezig, held discussions today with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Algeria, Jean-Jacques Quairiat, focusing on strengthening economic and trade cooperation between the two nations.
The meeting, held Saturday, centered on avenues to bolster bilateral relations and explore opportunities for increased commercial exchange. A key topic of discussion was the activation and revitalization of the Algerian-Belgian Business Council. This council serves as a crucial platform for fostering partnerships between businesses in both countries and promoting investment opportunities.
Minister Rezig emphasized Algeria’s commitment to diversifying its economy and creating a favorable environment for foreign investment. He highlighted the potential for Belgian companies to participate in various sectors, including renewable energy, agriculture, and infrastructure development.
