Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Turkey has emerged as the frontrunner in the medal standings at the sixth edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games, dubbed “Riyadh 2025.” Turkish athletes have secured a total of 22 medals, demonstrating a strong performance across various sporting disciplines.
The Turkish contingent’s impressive haul includes 14 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 4 bronze medals, placing them firmly at the top of the leaderboard. This dominant showing underscores Turkey’s commitment to sports development and its ability to nurture top-tier athletic talent.
Indonesia currently holds the second position with a total of 10 medals. Their medal count comprises 3 gold medals and 7 silver medals, reflecting a solid performance from their athletes.
Uzbekistan is in third place, having secured 5 medals. The Uzbek team has earned 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals.
Azerbaijan follows in fourth place with a total of 8 medals, including 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal, and 6 bronze medals. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) occupies the fifth position with 3 medals, consisting of 2 gold medals and 1 bronze medal.
Algeria is currently in sixth place with 2 medals: 1 gold and 1 bronze. Kazakhstan is seventh with 3 medals (2 silver, 1 bronze) followed by Kyrgyzstan in eighth with 2 silver medals. Tunisia and Tajikistan are tied for ninth, each with a silver and a bronze medal.
Saudi Arabia, the host nation, is in eleventh place with 1 silver medal. Egypt is in twelfth place with 4 bronze medals.
