National Wireless Communications Directorate Announces Job Openings

The General Directorate of National Wireless Communications (DGTN) has announced the opening of a nationwide recruitment drive. This initiative aims to bolster human resources and strengthen national competencies within the communications sector.

The recruitment, conducted across all 58 provinces, seeks qualified individuals for specialized training in various technical roles. A total of 128 positions are available, spread across different regions of the country.

According to a statement released by the DGTN, the recruitment focuses on three primary roles: Specialized Technical Inspector, Specialized Technical Assistant, and Operations Agent.

Specifically, 15 positions are open for Specialized Technical Inspectors. These roles are targeted towards candidates holding a State Engineer degree, or its equivalent, in fields such as computer science, with emphasis on artificial intelligence and its applications, cybersecurity, web and mobile application development, software engineering, information systems, and media technologies.

Furthermore, 45 positions are allocated for Specialized Technical Assistants. Eligibility for these roles extends to candidates possessing a baccalaureate degree, complemented by two years of training or higher education in computer science or wireless communications.

The Operations Agent category encompasses 68 positions, open to candidates who have completed the third year of secondary education, with a focus on mathematics or experimental sciences.

Positions are distributed across various regions, including central administration services covering all provinces. Additional positions are designated for the central, western, eastern, southeastern, and southwestern regions of the country, with residency in the chosen region being a requirement.

The DGTN emphasizes that the application process is exclusively online, through the dedicated digital platform at recrutement.dgtn.gov.dz. Applicants are required to upload digital copies of the necessary documents. Incomplete applications, or those submitted beyond the stipulated deadline of fifteen days from the date of the initial publication in the print media, will not be considered.

Applicants must fulfill several general requirements, including Algerian citizenship and the capacity to work both day and night. Age restrictions apply, with the Specialized Technical Assistant role requiring candidates between 21 and 30 years of age, and the Operations Agent role requiring candidates between 18 and 30 years of age.

Successful candidates will be required to complete their administrative files with medical certificates, birth certificates, photographs, and other administrative documents.
