Algiers, November 10, 2025 – The Front of Socialist Forces (FFS) will participate in the upcoming legislative elections with a platform centered on unity and fidelity to its founding values, according to First National Secretary, Youcef Ouchiche.
During a press conference held at the party headquarters following the National Council’s ordinary session last Friday, Ouchiche announced the party’s decision. He emphasized that the FFS is entering the elections driven by its belief in the importance of noble political action.
Ouchiche explained that the national leadership has been directed to prepare a clear and cohesive program and a realistic action strategy. This strategy will be rooted in the spirit of struggle, unity, openness to society, and fidelity to the values upon which the party was founded.
In preparation for the elections, the FFS will commence political, organizational, and logistical preparations to ensure the process proceeds smoothly, Ouchiche stated. He called on voters to participate strongly in the electoral process.
Highlighting the party’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the upcoming legislative and local elections to secure genuine national representation, Ouchiche stressed the importance of a comprehensive review of the electoral law.
Furthermore, the First National Secretary addressed key international developments, reaffirming the party’s unwavering commitment to the principles of authentic national diplomacy. These principles are based on peace, the values of freedom, justice, and solidarity, as well as non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries and respect for the principle of self-determination of peoples. He reiterated the party’s steadfast support for just causes, primarily the Palestinian and Sahrawi issues.
