Algiers, Algeria – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, paid tribute to Algeria’s fallen heroes today during an official visit to Algiers. The President visited the Martyr’s Memorial, a prominent monument commemorating the sacrifices made during the Algerian War of Independence.
President Mohamud laid a wreath of flowers at the foot of the memorial, a solemn gesture of respect and solidarity with the Algerian people. The Martyr’s Memorial stands as a powerful symbol of Algeria’s struggle for liberation and serves as a constant reminder of the immense cost of freedom.
