Algiers – Tunisian tennis sensation Ons Jabeur has announced she will be taking an extended break from competition as she prepares to welcome her first child.

Jabeur, formerly ranked number two in the world and affectionately known as ‘Minister of Happiness,’ shared the news via her Instagram account. “I’ve taken a short break to reset my psyche and recharge my batteries… and it turns out we were planning the most beautiful comeback ever,” she wrote.
