The Algerian Volleyball Federation (FAVB) has signed a cooperation protocol with its Polish counterpart, aiming to strengthen collaboration and facilitate the exchange of expertise between the two nations. The agreement signifies a commitment to bolstering volleyball development in Algeria through strategic partnerships.
Following the signing ceremony, Mohamed Tamadertaza, President of the Algerian Volleyball Federation, emphasized the significant benefits this agreement will bring to Algeria, particularly in three key areas. He highlighted the importance of leveraging Polish expertise to enhance the nation’s volleyball program.
“This collaboration will contribute significantly to the development of both training and administration,” Tamadertaza stated. “We will benefit from Polish expertise in creating a modern administration that embraces digitalization. This will enable us to improve performance and achieve tangible results in a shorter timeframe.”
The agreement is expected to provide Algerian coaches and administrators with valuable opportunities for professional development through training programs and workshops conducted by Polish experts. It also paves the way for potential player exchanges and joint training camps, further enriching the Algerian volleyball landscape.
President Tamadertaza further revealed that the FAVB is actively expanding its international relations. “We are on track to sign similar cooperation protocols with the federations of Qatar, Italy, Tunisia, Egypt, and Senegal, all with the aim of supporting the development of Algerian volleyball,” he explained. These partnerships reflect the federation’s commitment to a comprehensive strategy for elevating the sport’s profile and performance at all levels.
The agreement with Poland represents a crucial step forward in the Algerian Volleyball Federation’s vision for a brighter future for the sport in the country. By embracing international collaboration and leveraging the experience of established volleyball nations, Algeria is poised to make significant strides in its volleyball development programs.
