Minister Saioud Inspects Wildfire Control Efforts in Tipaza

Tipaza, Algeria – The Minister of Interior, Local Authorities, and Transportation, Said Saioud, visited the province of Tipaza yesterday evening to assess the ongoing efforts to control wildfires that have broken out in several of the region’s forests.

According to a statement released by the ministry, the visit was part of a field monitoring operation focused on the firefighting efforts underway in Tipaza. Minister Saioud arrived at the Civil Protection Unit in Hadjeret Ennous, where he received a briefing on the strategies and resources being deployed to contain the blazes.
