Active Weather Disturbance to Bring Heavy Rains Sunday

Algiers, November 15, 2025 – An active weather disturbance is expected to impact several regions of Algeria tomorrow, Sunday, bringing significant rainfall and strong winds, particularly to the northern and interior areas of the country.

According to the national weather service, relatively warm conditions are anticipated along the northern coastal strip, with partly cloudy skies prevailing in the central and eastern regions. The western part of the country will experience a mix of clear skies and rainfall.

The anticipated rainfall is expected to affect the following provinces: Mostaganem, Oran, Sidi Bel Abbes, Tlemcen, Relizane, Mascara, and Tiaret. Additionally, the provinces of Saida, Naama, El Bayadh, Tissemsilt, Medea, Djelfa, Bouira, Tizi Ouzou, and Bejaia are also likely to experience rainfall.

Temperatures along the coast are forecast to range between 24 and 28 degrees Celsius, while inland areas can expect temperatures between 21 and 27 degrees Celsius. Wind speeds may reach up to 50 kilometers per hour in some areas.

Stable and sunny conditions are predicted for the southern provinces, with temperatures ranging from 25 to 36 degrees Celsius. Winds in the south may reach speeds of up to 40 kilometers per hour. Residents are advised to stay informed about weather updates and take necessary precautions.
