President Abdelmadjid Tebboune received Dr. Sidi Ould Tah, President of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group, on Sunday for discussions focused on strengthening cooperation and partnership between Algeria and the prominent African financial institution.
The meeting, held at the Presidential Palace, saw the participation of Boualem Boualem, Director of the President’s Office, Minister of Finance Abderrahmane Raouya, and Ali Bouhraoua, Algeria’s representative to the African Development Bank Group.
Economic development and financial support were central to the discussions, with both parties exploring avenues to bolster investments aimed at fostering growth and creating development opportunities. The meeting served as an important platform to review current collaborative projects and explore the potential for expanding cooperation across various sectors.
President Tebboune emphasized Algeria’s commitment to working closely with the AfDB on initiatives that promote sustainable development and economic diversification. Dr. Ould Tah reiterated the AfDB’s support for Algeria’s development agenda and expressed optimism about the future of the partnership.
