Algiers, October 18, 2025 – Minister of Labor, Employment, and Social Security, Abdelhak Sayhi, chaired a review meeting at the ministry headquarters dedicated to the activities of the National Fund for Social Services Equalization. The meeting focused on enhancing service delivery and streamlining administrative processes.
According to a ministry statement, Minister Sayhi emphasized the importance of these evaluation meetings as part of a participatory approach. This approach aims to monitor the commitment of affiliated bodies to implementing sector recommendations and assess project progress, ultimately improving the quality of public service and enhancing performance efficiency.
The Director-General of the Fund presented a detailed overview of completed activities, assigned tasks, and future projects planned by the Fund. In response, Minister Sayhi issued a series of directives, stressing the “need to continuously improve the services provided by the Fund through the adoption of modern digital systems that ensure rapid and effective response to user requests.” He also highlighted the importance of simplifying administrative procedures and unifying efforts to enable citizens to obtain their legitimate rights as quickly as possible.
The Minister underscored the critical role of strengthening digital infrastructure by developing user-friendly electronic platforms. These platforms would allow beneficiaries to interact with the Fund’s departments and address their concerns remotely. Furthermore, he called for the development of a strategic plan for the period 2026-2030, embodying a new vision for managing the Fund’s performance. This plan should focus on launching innovative digital platforms that facilitate citizens’ access to the Fund’s services remotely, within a comprehensive approach based on efficiency, transparency, and quality of service.
In conclusion, Minister Sayhi reiterated the central administration’s commitment to supporting the National Fund for Social Services Equalization in achieving the sector’s strategic objectives and effectively responding to the legitimate concerns of citizens, with a spirit of responsibility and integration between the ministry and its affiliated bodies.
