Gaza City – The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported today that the death toll in Gaza has risen to 69,546 since October 7, 2023. The ongoing conflict has also left 170,833 injured, the majority of whom are women and children.
According to the ministry, 33 deaths and 88 injuries were recorded in the last 24 hours. Rescue teams are still struggling to reach numerous victims trapped under rubble and in the streets due to the intensity of the destruction.
Since the ceasefire between Hamas and Israeli forces came into effect on October 11th, 312 Palestinians have been killed and 760 wounded. Rescue workers have recovered the bodies of 572 individuals during this period.
The situation in Gaza remains dire, with widespread devastation impacting the civilian population.
