In a speech delivered at a ceremony to award certificates to the first batch of Saharawi National Council deputies who participated in a training course at the National People’s Assembly, Talib Omar said that “the Saharawi state is making its way forward thanks to the initiatives that Algeria is proposing towards its full recognition and towards empowering its institutions, so that it can contribute in its turn to expelling colonialism and raising the flag of liberation high.”

The Saharawi diplomat considered that this course is a message that confirms the recent speech delivered by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune from the United Nations podium, in which he declared his solidarity with the Saharawi people and called on the world and the United Nations to implement the decisions related to the Saharawi issue.

He also stressed that Algeria’s seat on the UN Security Council as a non-permanent member will enable it to raise the messages and concerns of Africa, the Arab world, and even international problems.
