International Conference on Climate-Resilient Transport Infrastructure to Launch in Algiers

Algiers, November 21, 2025 – The first International Conference on Climate-Resilient Transport Infrastructure will be held from November 22nd to 24th at the National Higher School of Public Works in Algiers. This landmark event, a first of its kind in Algeria and the Maghreb region, will bring together leading experts, officials, engineers specializing in climate and sustainable infrastructure, researchers, and key players in sustainable development from across the globe.

According to a statement released by the school, the conference is part of the technological monitoring responsibilities undertaken by the Public Works, Transport Engineering and Environment Laboratory. It aims to anticipate future transformations, identify appropriate innovations, and promote their dissemination among public and private stakeholders.

The conference will highlight concrete solutions for designing, adapting, and maintaining infrastructure capable of withstanding climate risks.
