Ouargla, Algeria – November 23, 2025 – A new call center, a joint venture between Algérie Poste, Mobilis, and Algérie Télécom, was inaugurated today in Ouargla by the Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Mr. Sid Ali Zerrouki.
Located in the Beni Thour area, the center represents a significant upgrade to customer service capabilities. The modern facility is equipped to efficiently handle citizen requests and concerns, aiming to improve the quality of service provided nationwide.
The project aligns with a broader national vision to invest in call center services. This vision aims to create 10,000 jobs by 2027, generate $150 million in revenue by 2027, and reach $1.2 billion with 300,000 jobs by 2029. This ambitious plan seeks to capitalize on a promising market both regionally and internationally.
The new center will contribute to local employment by providing 400 jobs, with the potential for gradual expansion. This initiative is part of a decentralized approach to strengthen the operational capacities of the three participating institutions.
Minister Zerrouki emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to supporting this trend by encouraging the establishment of modern and efficient call centers and developing human capital capable of delivering high-quality professional services. The creation of these jobs in Ouargla is a significant step towards achieving the national goals for employment and economic diversification.
