Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received Algerian Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui at the Al-Ittihadiya Palace in Cairo on Tuesday, reaffirming the commitment of both nations to enhanced cooperation and coordination. President El-Sisi emphasized that Algeria and Egypt, as vital pillars of stability in the Arab world and North Africa, will continue to work together on issues of mutual interest.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Larbaoui conveyed greetings from Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and reiterated Algeria’s dedication to strengthening bilateral ties and deepening partnerships across various sectors. According to a statement, President El-Sisi expressed his appreciation for President Tebboune and lauded the continuous communication between them, aimed at bolstering cooperation between the two nations, which share a common history.
President El-Sisi commended the existing level of bilateral relations and successful partnership projects between the two countries. He affirmed Egypt’s readiness to exert all possible efforts to elevate bilateral cooperation and economic exchange to match the potential of both nations. He also expressed his wishes for the success of the 9th session of the Joint Higher Committee and stressed the importance of implementing its outcomes to achieve tangible benefits for both economies.
Prime Minister Larbaoui highlighted the deep historical ties between Algeria and Egypt, emphasizing the commitment of both leaderships to further enhance bilateral cooperation by exploring all partnership opportunities within the framework of continental and Arab free trade agreements. He stated that the current session reflects the directives of President Tebboune and President El-Sisi, issued during previous discussions, to strengthen strategic cooperation.
