Luanda, Angola – Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held discussions with Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar, on Tuesday. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 7th African Union-European Union Summit in Luanda.
Both ministers expressed their satisfaction with the current state of fraternal relations and cooperation between Algeria and Tunisia.
According to a statement released by the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two officials reviewed ongoing preparations for the upcoming session of the Algerian-Tunisian High Joint Commission.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange views on the evolving situation in neighboring Libya and explore avenues for strengthening the role of neighboring countries in fostering dialogue and bridging perspectives between the various parties in the sister nation. The ministers emphasized the importance of regional stability and collaboration in addressing shared challenges.
The High Joint Commission serves as a key platform for strengthening bilateral ties and cooperation across various sectors, including trade, investment, and security.
