Gaza: Casualties Soar to Nearly 70,000 Amid Ongoing Conflict

Gaza, November 26, 2025 – The Palestinian Ministry of Health reports a dramatic surge in casualties in the Gaza Strip as a result of the ongoing conflict, with the death toll now reaching 69,785. In addition, 170,965 individuals have sustained injuries since October 7, 2023.

The figures released today paint a grim picture of the humanitarian crisis unfolding in the region. Health officials emphasize that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children, highlighting the devastating impact of the conflict on the civilian population.

The continuous hostilities have placed an immense strain on Gaza’s already fragile healthcare system. Hospitals are overwhelmed, and medical supplies are dwindling, hindering the ability to provide adequate care to the injured. The situation is further complicated by the displacement of hundreds of thousands of residents, seeking refuge from the relentless violence.

The international community has expressed growing concern over the escalating conflict and its devastating consequences for civilians. Calls for a ceasefire and increased humanitarian assistance are mounting, as the situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate.

This report will be updated as more information becomes available.
