Doha, Qatar – Ooredoo Algeria marked its inaugural participation in the Mobile World Congress (MWC) held in Doha on November 25th and 26th, 2025. The event, the first MWC edition in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, saw Ooredoo Algeria featured prominently within the Ooredoo Group pavilion.

The Ooredoo Group pavilion welcomed a visit from the Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Sid Ali Zerrouki. The Minister examined Ooredoo Algeria’s latest innovations and projects designed to enhance digital infrastructure and boost the competitiveness of Algeria’s telecommunications sector.
Ooredoo Algeria showcased a suite of advanced, AI-powered technological solutions, including applications for optimizing network performance, mechanisms for improving customer service quality, and solutions for personalizing services and developing more interactive digital interfaces. These innovations aim to enhance user satisfaction, improve service continuity, and increase subscriber loyalty in a rapidly evolving digital market.
On the sidelines of the congress, Ooredoo Algeria finalized two strategic agreements: one focused on cloud gaming and another concerning digital broadcasting and content solutions. These agreements are integral to Ooredoo Algeria’s vision of offering innovative digital products that cater to evolving consumer behavior in Algeria and unlock new opportunities in the content economy.
