Algeria Post has announced the upcoming launch of a mobile payment platform using Quick Response (QR) codes, allowing customers to make purchases through their smartphones and enabling merchants to manage their financial transactions and offer promotional deals.
In this regard, the Director General of Algeria Post, Luay Zeidi, stated that the organization has made “significant efforts” to enhance its services, particularly concerning the distribution of the gold card, which has reached 12 million cards.
Zeidi emphasized that “Algeria Post has become a vital center for producing cash cards for national banks,” noting that this task represents a “significant challenge for the company in fulfilling its commitments to its partners, especially as demand continues to increase.”
The spokesperson affirmed their commitment to trust, collaboration, and innovation in facing the challenges of the sector by continuing to provide quality services and contributing to the development of the sector at both the national and international levels.
