DZWatch Exclusive: The Ministry of National Education has issued a series of strict directives to principals and inspectors across all three educational levels, focusing on the schedule for end-of-term exams for the 2025-2026 academic year.
The directives, outlined in a recent communication, emphasize adherence to Ministerial Decree No. 269, dated November 11, 2025. The aim is to optimize pedagogical time dedicated to curriculum implementation across all educational stages and to standardize the periods for conducting end-of-term assessments.
Central to these new instructions is the commitment to ensuring equality and equal opportunities for all students nationwide. The Ministry’s communication underscores the need for strict compliance with the established examination schedule for the 2025-2026 academic year, as stipulated in the aforementioned Ministerial Decree.
The Ministry further stressed the importance of implementing the contents of the communication and adhering to the provisions of the Ministerial Decree to ensure the smooth and standardized operation of the educational process within officially approved frameworks.
These directives align with guidance provided by the Minister of National Education during recent meetings and video conferences. The overarching objective is to harmonize procedures across educational institutions, guarantee optimal implementation of educational programs, and achieve fairness for all students.
Notably, the first term examinations are expected to commence on December 7th, with the Ministry keen on ensuring a synchronized launch across all provinces nationwide on the same day.
