DZWatch News: Israeli forces completed their withdrawal from the Tubas Governorate in the West Bank on Saturday evening, concluding a four-day operation in the area.
The withdrawal encompassed the city of Tubas, as well as the towns of Aqaba and Tayasir. Forces had previously pulled out of the Al-Far’a refugee camp and the town of Tammun on Friday.
Nidal Odeh, Director of Ambulance and Emergency Services in Tubas, reported that medical teams treated 204 individuals for injuries sustained during the four-day period. According to Odeh, 69 of these cases required hospitalization, while the remaining injuries were treated on-site.
Kamal Bani Odeh, Director of the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society in Tubas, stated that approximately 200 people were detained and subjected to field interrogations over the course of the four days. Most were subsequently released, but 10 individuals were arrested.
During the operation, Israeli forces conducted extensive raids on homes throughout the governorate. A comprehensive curfew was imposed, and primary and secondary roads were blocked with earth mounds, restricting movement within the region.
DZWatch will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.
