Algerian Land Forces Commander Meets Chinese Ambassador

Algiers – Lieutenant General Mostefa Smaali, Commander of the Land Forces, received the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Algeria, Guangli DONG, this Saturday at the Land Forces Command headquarters. The Military Attaché of the Chinese Embassy was also present during the meeting.

According to a statement from the Ministry of National Defense, the meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on several issues of common interest. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing military cooperation between Algeria and China. This reflects the level of partnership between the two countries in various fields.

The visit concluded with the signing of the Golden Record of the Land Forces Command and the exchange of symbolic gifts between the two sides.

This meeting underscores the continued commitment of both Algeria and China to fostering strong diplomatic and strategic ties. The strengthening of military cooperation is seen as a key component of this partnership, reflecting mutual interests in regional stability and security.
