Israeli Forces Conduct Raids in Jenin and West Bank

Israeli military vehicles patrolled several streets in Jenin following incursions into the town of Silat al-Harithiya, sparking confrontations with Palestinian youths. The Israeli army conducted multiple raids and searches in various towns across the occupied West Bank, resulting in clashes.

Eyewitness accounts describe intense confrontations in Silat al-Harithiya, west of Jenin, after Israeli forces stormed the town, deploying tear gas and stun grenades against Palestinian residents. The Israeli forces also raided homes in the village of Bir al-Basha, south of Jenin, while military vehicles were seen traversing streets in several towns south and west of the governorate.

In a separate incident, Israeli forces raided the town of Aqaba, north of Tubas, deploying several military vehicles and conducting searches of numerous homes. Medical sources reported three injuries among young Palestinians who were allegedly assaulted while crossing the Tayasir checkpoint, east of Tubas. The forces also raided the home of a prisoner in Aqaba, while maintaining a military presence in the surrounding area.

Elsewhere in the West Bank, Israeli forces carried out multiple raids in Salfit, including an incursion into the village of Marda, north of the governorate. During the raid, several homes were searched; however, no arrests were reported. The village has been subjected to repeated attacks, including the closure of main and side entrances and the search of homes during ongoing raids.

The increased military activity across the West Bank has raised tensions and concerns among Palestinian residents.
