Algiers – Lieutenant General Mustapha Smaili, Commander of the Land Forces, today received His Excellency Guangli DONG, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Algeria, at the Land Forces Headquarters. The Ambassador was accompanied by the Defense Attaché of the Chinese Embassy in Algiers.
The meeting focused on the exchange of views regarding matters of mutual interest, particularly strengthening relations and boosting cooperation in the military field between the two countries. This high-level discussion underscores the ongoing efforts to solidify the strategic partnership between Algeria and China.
Both parties expressed their commitment to exploring new avenues for collaboration and deepening the existing ties. The discussions also touched upon regional security issues and the importance of maintaining stability in the region.
