AADEL 3 Housing Program: Over 13,000 Units Allocated Nationwide

Algiers – The National Agency for Housing Improvement and Development (AADEL) announced today significant progress in the AADEL 3 housing program. To date, over 13,000 housing units have been allocated across various provinces.

This announcement follows President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s launch of the first project in Constantine. The program aims to address the growing demand for affordable housing across Algeria.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held today in Medea for a new project comprising 1,400 lease-to-own housing units. The event was overseen by the Director General of AADEL, Riad Ghamdani, and the Governor of Medea, Djilali Doumi. This marks the fourth such event in the national AADEL 3 project rollout.

According to AADEL, the allocations break down as follows:

  • 8,050 units in the Sissaoui urban hub – Constantine
  • 1,600 units in the El Bokra urban hub – Ouargla
  • 2,000 units in the Ouled Khaled urban hub – Saida
  • 1,400 units in the province of Medea

These initiatives align with the directives of the Minister of Housing, Urban Planning, and the City, Mohamed Tarek Belaribi. He is focused on accelerating the allocation and construction of AADEL 3 projects. The overall program encompasses 46,000 housing units distributed throughout the country.

AADEL has stressed its commitment to maintaining a high pace of construction. The goal is to ensure the availability of decent housing and support the national policy aimed at boosting housing supply and improving living conditions for Algerian citizens.
