Algiers, December 3, 2025 – The President of the Council of the Nation, Mr. Azzouz Nasseri, today reaffirmed the state’s unwavering commitment to upholding the rights of people with disabilities and ensuring their full and active participation in public life.
In a statement released earlier today, Mr. Nasseri emphasized the importance of creating an inclusive society where individuals with disabilities can exercise their rights and contribute meaningfully to the nation’s progress. He highlighted the government’s ongoing efforts to implement policies and programs designed to address the specific needs and challenges faced by this segment of the population.
“The Algerian state is deeply committed to strengthening the rights of people with disabilities,” Mr. Nasseri stated. “We are working tirelessly to remove barriers and create opportunities for them to participate fully in all aspects of society, from education and employment to cultural and political life.”
