A delegation from Belarus, representing the state-owned company Belpharmprom, visited the Saidal Group on Tuesday as part of an official working visit to Algeria. The visit signals a strengthening of ties between the two nations in the crucial pharmaceutical sector.
The delegation was received at Saidal’s production site in El Harrach by Ryad Aboudil, the Acting Director in charge of Partnerships, representing Nabila Ben Yagzer, the CEO of the Saidal Group, along with several administrative executives from the group.
Discussions during the meeting focused on exploring avenues for enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two entities, particularly within the strategic pharmaceutical industry. Both parties expressed their shared desire to solidify a fruitful partnership aimed at meeting the growing demand for medicines in both countries and strengthening their respective production capacities in this vital area.
“This visit underscores the importance of international collaboration in addressing the challenges and opportunities within the pharmaceutical landscape,” stated Mr. Aboudil during the meeting. “We believe that by combining our expertise and resources, we can achieve significant advancements in pharmaceutical production and accessibility for our citizens.”
