Minister Inaugurates Facility for Hearing-Impaired Children in Barika

Batna, Algeria – The Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women’s Affairs, Soraya Mouloudji, inaugurated a new annex dedicated to the care and education of hearing-impaired children in Barika on Thursday. The inauguration took place as part of a field visit by the Minister to the Batna province.

The facility aims to provide specialized support and resources for children with hearing impairments, fostering their development and integration into society. The annex is equipped with modern equipment and staffed by trained professionals specializing in audiology, speech therapy, and special education.

During the inauguration ceremony, Minister Mouloudji emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting vulnerable populations, including children with disabilities. She highlighted the importance of providing inclusive education and creating opportunities for these children to reach their full potential.

“This new facility represents a significant step forward in our efforts to ensure that all children, regardless of their abilities, have access to quality education and care,” Minister Mouloudji stated. “We are dedicated to creating a society where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to achieve their dreams.”

The establishment of the annex is expected to significantly improve the lives of hearing-impaired children and their families in the Barika region.
