In light of the recent alarming developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has made the decision to postpone his planned visit to the Djelfa province, as stated in an official announcement from the Presidency of the Republic.

The statement reads, “In light of the dangerous developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, stemming from the ongoing wild and devastating Zionist bombings in the Gaza Strip, which have resulted in hundreds of casualties among innocent children, women, and defenseless civilians, with targets including buildings, schools, mosques, and hospitals bombarded relentlessly.”

“In the wake of these unparalleled atrocities, the President deems the current circumstances unsuitable for conducting an inspection visit to the Djelfa province and has therefore chosen to reschedule it for a later date,” further adds the Presidency of the Republic.

This decision reflects the Algerian government’s commitment to expressing solidarity with the Palestinian cause and its deep concern for the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Palestine. President Tebboune’s decision to delay his visit underscores the importance of addressing urgent matters related to international peace and security.
