In a firm response to the recent events, Algeria has unequivocally condemned Israel’s “deliberate” strike on a hospital in Gaza that transpired on Tuesday. The official statement from the president’s office conveyed the nation’s strong disapproval.

The statement issued by Algeria affirms, “Algeria condemns, in the strongest terms, the deliberate strike on a hospital in the Gaza Strip by the occupying forces, causing hundreds of casualties and multiple injuries among Palestinian children.”

Moreover, in light of this distressing incident, Algeria has issued a call to action. The nation is urging the international community, humanitarian organizations, and the global conscience to take immediate action to halt these acts, which it describes as “barbaric” and in violation of international humanitarian law and fundamental human values.

The Al Ahli Arab Hospital, the unfortunate target of this strike, was fully operational at the time, serving patients, healthcare providers, and internally displaced individuals, as reported by the World Health Organization.

The Gaza-based health ministry has attributed the airstrikes to Israel, while the Israeli military has attributed responsibility to the Islamic Jihad organization, labeling it a “failed shooting” aimed at Israel.
