The President of the Algerian Council of the Nation, Salah Goujil, has strongly condemned the recent atrocities committed by the Zionist entity in Gaza. These actions, which took place at a hospital in Gaza, resulted in the loss of innocent lives, including doctors and patients.

Speaking today before the commencement of a public session to discuss the government’s general policy statement, with Prime Minister Ayman Ben Abderrahman in attendance, Goujil emphasized that the Zionist massacres have crossed all red lines. He raised the question of human rights, which some Western countries claim to protect and uphold, asking, “Where are the countries that advocate for human rights, and how have they reacted to what we are witnessing?”

Goujil reiterated Algeria’s unwavering stance on the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people, stating, “We, as a government and as a people, stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people.”

The President of the Council of the Nation called on all Algerian citizens to participate in rallies scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, across the various regions of the country to show their support for the Palestinian people. He emphasized that these Thursday demonstrations are intended to convey the Algerian people’s unequivocal stance to the entire world, not just that of the Algerian government.

This call to action comes as Algeria, in alignment with its official stance, reaffirms its support for the Palestinian cause and its condemnation of the recent violence in Gaza. The demonstrations are expected to be a powerful expression of Algeria’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people.
