Syrian Interior Minister: ISIS Leaders Arrested in Recent Operations

DAMASCUS – The Syrian Minister of Interior has announced the successful execution of multiple operations against the Islamic State (ISIS) over the past year, resulting in the arrest of several key leaders within the organization.

In an exclusive interview, the Minister addressed ongoing efforts to reform and restructure the nation’s security apparatus. He emphasized the government’s commitment to accountability, stating that any security personnel found guilty of misconduct will be held responsible for their actions.

“We are actively restructuring our security agencies and holding accountable those members found guilty of wrongdoing,” the Minister stated. “We are also implementing comprehensive training programs to enhance the professionalism and ethical conduct of our security forces.”
