Algerian Universities Achieve New Milestone in Innovation

A total of 61 student projects have been funded across 25 universities in a span of just 11 days, marking a new era of entrepreneurial development within the higher education sector.

The Minister of Higher Education, Kamal Badari, announced the successful projects selected for funding through the establishment of student-led micro-enterprises. Students from various higher education institutions demonstrated their capabilities and secured the trust of the CSVF (Start-up Fund), achieving remarkable results.

The funded projects span a diverse range of sectors, highlighting the varied initiatives and entrepreneurial drive of Algerian university students. Minister Badari expressed his pride in the students who transformed their ideas into tangible projects. He emphasized that these achievements demonstrate the creativity, initiative, and ambition that characterize Algerian university youth.

  • University of Ferhat Abbas Setif: One project in the agricultural sector.
  • University of Zian Achour Djelfa: Three projects, including two in industry and one in services.
  • University of M’hamed Bougara Boumerdes: Three projects, including one in industry and two in freelance professions.
  • University of Oran: One project in health.
  • Higher School of Computer Science and Digital Technology: One project in industry.
  • University of Bejaia: Six projects, including one in industry, two in health, two in construction and public works, and one in textiles and clothing.
  • University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene: Two projects, one in services and one in industry.
  • University of Blida 1: Two projects, one in plastic industries and the other in food industries.
  • University of Tissemsilt: One project in medicine.
  • University of Ahmed Zabana Relizane: One project in industry.
  • University of Adrar: Two projects in medicine.
