Prime Minister Saifi Gharib chaired a joint ministerial council meeting on Wednesday dedicated to studying the National Cinema Strategy 2026-2030.
This strategy is considered a reference document based on the commitments of the President of the Republic and practically embodies his directives. It is also based on the intellectual and practical vision contained in the President’s speech during the National Cinema Sessions held on January 19 and 20, 2025, and their outcomes.
The strategy is based on a comprehensive approach that considers cinema a national project where the cultural dimension intersects with economic, investment, financial, communication, and diplomatic dimensions. It aims to establish a modern and competitive film industry that meets the demands of the Algerian public and revitalizes the movement of cinematic production.
