Authorities specifically highlighted the impact of the dense fog on the North-South highway (A1), particularly the stretch between Ben Chicao and Berrouaghia. Motorists traveling in this area are urged to exercise extreme caution due to the limited visibility.
The warning also extends to the Boughezoul municipality, where similar conditions are reported.
Furthermore, the National Gendarmerie has cautioned about dense fog affecting National Road 19, specifically in the Khams Nakhlates area within the municipality of Ouled Fares in the Chlef province. Drivers in this region should also be vigilant and reduce their speed accordingly.
