Algiers – The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced the opening of applications for university professor promotions. The call is directed towards all Maitre de Conferences Class A lecturers.
According to a statement released by the Directorate of Human Resources, this 53rd session of the National University Committee is in accordance with Article 50 of Executive Decree No. 08-130, dated May 3, 2008. This decree outlines the fundamental statute of the research professor, as amended and supplemented. Lecturers in Class A with five years of active service in that capacity are eligible to apply.
The Ministry emphasizes that the acceptance of applications will be subject to minimum standards specific to the candidate’s field of study. Candidates must meet certain established criteria to be considered.
The pedagogical and scientific work of each applicant will be evaluated according to the assessment grid established by the National University Committee.
All applications must be submitted exclusively through the digital platform “Progrès” using the professional email address of each candidate. The application window is open from December 10, 2025, to December 31, 2025.
