iPhone 16 Dominates Q3 2025 Global Smartphone Sales

Apple’s iPhone 16 has emerged as the top-selling smartphone in the third quarter of 2025, according to recent market analysis. The report highlights Apple’s continued dominance in the premium segment, despite strong competition.

Apple and Samsung shared the top spots in the best-selling phones list, each securing five positions. Notably, the iPhone 16 led the charge, followed by strong sales of the iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, and iPhone 16e. Even the iPhone 17 Pro Max managed to secure a place within the top ten, demonstrating Apple’s sustained appeal.

Samsung’s representation in the top ten was primarily driven by its budget-friendly A-series models. The Galaxy A16-5G ranked highest among Samsung devices, followed by the Galaxy A06, A36, A56, and A16-4G. This underscores the popularity of Samsung’s affordable options in the global market.

The report also indicates a notable absence of flagship devices from Samsung and other manufacturers within the top ten. In fact, Apple was the only brand with phones priced above $600 to make the list. This suggests a growing consumer preference for more affordable smartphone options.

Interestingly, Redmi phones, which previously held positions in the top ten during the same period last year, are conspicuously absent this year. The Galaxy S24, which held the tenth spot last year, also failed to make the cut. The market dynamics continue to evolve, with Apple and Samsung adapting to consumer demands and maintaining their positions as key players in the global smartphone arena.
