Algeria Officially Launches Digital Apostille Platform

Algeria officially launched on Thursday the new digital Apostille platform, dedicated to simplifying the certification of public documents intended for use abroad, according to a statement issued by the High Commission for Digitalization.
The platform is available through the national portal for government digital services and marks an important step in Algeria’s efforts to modernize public administration and accelerate digital transformation.
According to the statement, the launch of this service comes in implementation of the state’s high directives aimed at speeding up digital transformation and improving public services. It also reflects the principle of institutional coordination between different government sectors.
The High Commission for Digitalization designed and developed the platform in line with the needs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad and African Affairs. This ministry will be responsible for managing and providing the service, in cooperation with the sectors involved in the first phase of implementation.
The project represents a model of institutional cooperation between several ministries and public bodies. These include the ministries of Interior and Local Authorities, Transport, Justice, Finance, Higher Education and Scientific Research, National Education, Vocational Training and Education, Post and Telecommunications, as well as the services of the Bank of Algeria.
The new platform aims to improve the quality of public services by simplifying procedures related to the certification of public documents intended for use outside Algeria.
It also supports the establishment of a modern digital administration that responds to citizens’ expectations, improves the efficiency of public services and keeps pace with international standards.
Through this digital solution, Algeria seeks to reduce administrative burdens, facilitate access to public services and strengthen the use of technology in managing official procedures linked to documents used abroad.
