Laghouat: Foundation Stone Laid for 1,150 AADL 3 Housing Units

Laghouat – The Director-General of the National Agency for Housing Improvement and Development (AADL), in conjunction with the Governor of Laghouat province, Mohamed Benmalek, laid the foundation stone for the construction of 1,150 housing units under the AADL 3 program in Laghouat.

This event marks the seventh stage in the implementation of the AADL 3 program across various provinces. According to a statement released by AADL, since the project’s launch under the directive of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, 17,600 housing units have been allocated.

These units are distributed across several provinces, including 8,050 units in the urban center of Sissaoui in Constantine, 1,600 units in the El Bakarat urban center in Ouargla province, 2,000 units in the Ouled Khaled urban center in Saida province, 1,400 units in Medea, 1,000 units in Boulhaf Dyr in Tebessa province, 2,400 units in Mascara province, and now, 1,150 units in Laghouat.

The AADL 3 program aims to provide affordable housing solutions through the lease-to-own scheme. This initiative is in line with the directives of the Minister of Housing, Urban Planning, and the City, Mohamed Tarek Belaaribi, to continue the implementation of the AADL 3 program across the country. The goal is to ensure that citizens have access to suitable housing options under the lease-to-own formula.

The project in Laghouat represents a significant step towards fulfilling the government’s commitment to address the housing needs of Algerian citizens and improve their living conditions. The AADL program remains a key component of the national housing strategy, providing a viable pathway to homeownership for many families.
