Chief of Staff Inspects Injured Soldiers After Beni Abbes Tragedy

The Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, Lieutenant General Said Chengriha, visited the Central Military Hospital in Ain Naadja, First Military Region, to check on the condition of those injured in the tragic traffic accident that occurred in the state of Beni Abbes.

Accompanied by the Central Director of Military Health Services for the Ministry of National Defense, Lieutenant General Chengriha closely examined the health status of the injured personnel. He offered words of support and encouragement to them and their families, wishing them a swift recovery.

This visit follows the devastating accident that occurred in Beni Abbes on Saturday, resulting in the deaths of 14 citizens, including two members of the People’s National Army, and a number of injuries. The leadership of the People’s National Army took immediate measures to provide the necessary care for the injured, in accordance with the directives of Lieutenant General Said Chengriha.

In this context, 19 injured individuals, including four civilians and fifteen members of the People’s National Army, were evacuated to the Central Military Hospital in Ain Naadja to receive the necessary treatment and medical care.
