Algerian Army Chief Visits Injured in Beni Abbes Accident

The Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, Lieutenant General Said Chengriha, visited those injured in the recent traffic accident in Beni Abbes province. The visit took place on Monday at the Central Army Hospital in Ain Naadja, Algiers.

According to a statement released by the Ministry of National Defense, Lieutenant General Chengriha inspected the condition of those wounded in the tragic accident that occurred last Saturday. The accident resulted in the deaths of 14 citizens, including two members of the People’s National Army, and left several others injured.

Lieutenant General Chengriha, accompanied by the Central Director of Military Health Services of the Ministry of National Defense, personally assessed the health status of the injured. He offered words of encouragement and support to the patients and their families, wishing them a swift recovery.

Following the accident, Lieutenant General Chengriha issued instructions for the evacuation of 19 injured individuals – four civilians and fifteen members of the People’s National Army – to the Central Army Hospital in Ain Naadja. This measure was taken to ensure they receive the necessary treatment and medical care.
