The Algerian Ministry of National Defense released its operational report for November 2025, highlighting significant achievements in combating terrorism and organized crime across various military districts.
According to the official statement, units of the People’s National Army apprehended 211 drug traffickers during the month. In a separate development, four terrorists surrendered to military authorities within the same period.
Furthermore, security operations led to the arrest of 29 individuals providing support to terrorist groups, as part of ongoing efforts to cut off resources and support networks fueling terrorist activity.
In the context of combating smuggling and illegal gold mining, authorities detained 1737 individuals. Additionally, 1637 illegal immigrants of various nationalities were apprehended at the borders.
Military units seized 13 firearms in counter-terrorism operations, alongside 46 other firearms recovered in separate incidents.
Regarding the fight against drug trafficking, the Ministry of Defense reported the seizure of 26.20 quintals of treated cannabis, 5.75 kilograms of cocaine, and 2,864,083 psychotropic tablets in targeted operations across different regions.
The operations also resulted in the seizure of substantial quantities of fuel, totaling 266,065 liters, along with equipment used in illegal gold mining, including 689 jackhammers, 1,222 generators, and 104 vehicles of various types.
