Bratislava, Slovakia – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, met with members of the Algerian community residing in Slovakia today, during an official visit to the country.
The meeting, held at the Algerian Embassy in Bratislava, provided an opportunity for Minister Attaf to engage directly with Algerian citizens living in Slovakia. The visit was undertaken on behalf of the President of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
According to a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the discussions allowed Minister Attaf to gain firsthand insight into the experiences and concerns of the Algerian diaspora in Slovakia. He listened attentively to their priorities and challenges, emphasizing the importance of their role in strengthening the human bonds between Algeria and Slovakia.
“This meeting underscores the Algerian government’s commitment to maintaining close ties with its citizens abroad,” a source close to the Minister stated. “The contributions of the Algerian community in Slovakia are highly valued, and their perspectives are vital in fostering stronger bilateral relations.”
Minister Attaf reiterated the government’s dedication to supporting the Algerian diaspora and facilitating their integration within Slovak society, while also preserving their cultural identity.
