Constantine, Algeria – Algerian natural products are attracting significant attention from both local visitors and foreign investors at the national food and agriculture production and export fair, “AgriExport Africa,” currently underway in Constantine.
The variety and quality of the locally sourced products, many of which meet stringent African and international market standards, have been a major draw, according to the fair’s organizers.
DZWatch spoke with several attendees who expressed their enthusiasm for the range of organic and traditionally produced items on display. One investor from a neighboring African nation stated, “The potential for importing these goods is considerable. The quality is high, and the prices are competitive.”
The AgriExport Africa fair aims to promote Algerian agricultural products and connect local producers with international buyers. This year’s event features a wide array of goods, including dates, olive oil, honey, and various other processed and unprocessed agricultural commodities.
Organizers hope that the interest generated at the fair will translate into increased export opportunities for Algerian businesses and contribute to the country’s economic diversification efforts.
The fair continues throughout the week, with workshops and seminars scheduled to further facilitate networking and business development between Algerian producers and international partners.
