A significant fire broke out this morning at a gum production factory in the Tizi Ouzou province. Civil Protection services confirmed their intervention at 4:55 AM to combat the blaze.
The fire originated on the ground floor of a building comprised of a ground floor and two additional stories, located in the Thala Oulili area of Bou Nouh municipality, in the Bougueni district.
To control the rapidly spreading fire, the Civil Protection deployed five fire trucks and one ambulance to the scene. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire. No injuries have been reported at this time.
